You’ve Launched Your Blot Website, Now What?

Useful Tools for Creating a WebsiteUseful Tools for Creating a Website

You’ve configured and launched your new Blot website, now what? Well, the first thing I would recommend is that you visit each of the links below to make sure everything is working as it should be.

Google Analytics

One of the first things that you should do after launching a new website is to add it to your Google Analytics profile. Blot makes adding the special analytics code to your website pretty easy, you just need to activate it in your account and add the G-Code that Google Analytics provides you. Easy peasey.

Google Search Console

Search Console tools and reports help you measure your site’s Search traffic and performance, fix issues and make your site shine in Google Search results

Twitter Card Validator

Twitter Cards allow you to attach rich photos, videos and media experiences to Tweets, helping to drive traffic to your website. The code should already be installed on your new Blot website, but it’s a good idea to run a link through the validator to see what it’s going to look like when posted to Twitter.

Facebook Sharing Debugger

Sharing Debugger lets you preview how your content will look when it’s shared to Facebook and debug any issues with your Open Graph tags. You’ll need to log into Facebook before you can use the debugger.

Website Accessibility Checker

Is your website accessible to people with disabilities? All technology, including websites, must grant barrier-free access to people with disabilities. For websites, that means meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 standards.
