The Perseid Meteor Shower was a couple of weeks ago and on the night of their peak I decided to pack up my camera gear and head on up into the mountains to see if I could capture a few shots of them. Just before leaving I decided that it would be best if I did a little research on the subject and after reading a few blogs and articles I decided that I would use my 50mm 1.8 prime lens with focus set to infinity and an exposure time of somewhere between 10-30 seconds.
